Event Taping Protocols
1)Please notify GCTV, in writing, three weeks prior to the event that your organization would like taped. Please include Date, Time, and Location of your event. We can then get a crew together, and reserve the equipment for your shoot.
2)Please find one or two of your members who are willing to learn how to tape an event. We are an all-volunteer organization, and our volunteers joined in order to tape events that are important to them. Your members can come to any of our Board meetings, the forth Thursday of the month, 7 pm, at the GCTV studio, and can also come to any of our tapings in order to see and learn how tapings are done, and to learn some basic production techniques.
3)Provide GCTV with a list of preferred times and days that you would like your event broadcast. We can then "try" to reserve those days and times for the airing of your organization s event.
4) Our unpaid, volunteer staff is not in place to do the actual taping of your event. Rather, they are in place to train members of your organization in proper use of equipment, and production techniques.
